"Welcome" to the First Congregational Church in New Baltimore, Michigan
“No matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you’re welcome here!” You don’t need to be a member of any particular church or denomination to receive spiritual care, participate in activities or worship at First Congregational Church UCC. We, like Christ, strive to be inclusive of all people. Contact us if you have questions or visit one of our worship celebrations. We are conveniently located about 30 miles northeast of Detroit.
Two Worship Celebrations every Sunday at 8:45am and 10:15am.
Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month at both services.
A Nursery is provided in the Robinson wing during the 10:15am service throughout the year.
Sunday School - Children are dismissed for Sunday School after the "Children's Moment" at the 10:15 service.
Pastoral Counseling and Spiritual Care are available to anybody experiencing a crisis or other challenges on life’s journey. We will also visit the homebound, those in a hospital or long term care facility. The pastor and diaconate work together to facilitate these ministries.
Weddings can be scheduled for couples from the community, in the beautiful Neo-Greek, New England style church built in 1861. It seats 100-125 people. Pastor Brinker meets with couples to plan a marriage ceremony. The fellowship hall is also available for receptions.
